What is Nacre?

Nacre is also known as the mother of pearl. It is created
when an irritant makes it’s way into an oyster. Nacre coats the irritant, and layer
by layer, a pearl is created.  What is
left is not only beautiful, but strong and lustrous because of its materials
and layering.

The skin reminds me of this concept. It is our body’s
protective barrier, comprised of many layers, each one necessary for the next.
Not only is it our first line of defense, but with care and nurturing it can be
strong, lustrous and beautiful.

As your esthetician, I want to get to know the layers of
your skin. I want to make it strong and resistant. And of course, beautiful and
lustrous like a pearl.
